2018 TRAIL TO NOWHERE / RICK SPACK BENEFIT RIDE INFORMATION
Join us Saturday, April 28, 2018 for Manning's seventh annual TRAIL TO NOWHERE RIDE. This fun-filled event is great for seasoned riders or riders that are just starting out. Don't ride a bike? Walkers and runners are welcome!
Half of the proceeds from the ride will support trails in Manning. The other half of the 2018 Ride will go to Rick Spack, fellow cyclist who was injured in a bicycling accident in September and is recovering at Madonna Rehabilitation Center in Lincoln Nebraska.
The bike ride route goes through downtown and around the outskirts of Manning (appx. 6 miles). Do as many or as few laps as you'd like. Walkers/Runners also welcome on an 3-mile route of their own. There will also be door prizes drawn between 6:00 and 6:30 p.m. Must be downtown still to win.
What do you do when you aren't running, walking, or biking? HAVE FUN! Hang out downtown--enjoy the good company and great food and drinks at one of the bars or restaurants downtown or browse the shops! Don't forget to show your wristband for discounts and other fun promotions.
COST: Rider/Walker/Runner Registration is $25/person and includes a gift bag (limited to first 100 people) a wristband that will entitle you to food and drink specials at local establishments during and after the event, and entrance into a prize raffle for those that are able to hang in there all day.
Ride "Supporter" Registration: Just want to join in on the fun, but don't want to ride? Get the gift bag and wristband without the work for $20.
THE DAY OF THE RIDE: Register or Check-in at 307 Main Street (Main Street Manning Office) and pick up your T-shirt and wristband. Registration goes from 1:00 to 2:30.
No refunds will be given. In the event of a weather cancelation, the event will be rescheduled in the fall.
