2017 TRAIL TO NOWHERE/STEVE BUSER MEMORIAL RIDE INFORMATION
Join us Saturday, April 22, 2017 for Manning's sixth annual TRAIL TO NOWHERE RIDE. This fun-filled event is great for seasoned riders or riders that are just starting out. Don't ride a bike? Walkers and runners are welcome!
2017 Ride will be in memory of fellow cyclist, Steve Buser, who passed away March 17th. Half the proceeds of the ride will go towards a memorial for his family.
The bike ride route goes through downtown and around the outskirts of Manning (appx. 6 miles). Do as many or as few laps as you'd like. Walkers/Runners also welcome on an 3-mile route of their own. There will also be door prizes drawn at 6:30 p.m. Must be present to win.
What do you do when you aren't running, walking, or biking? HAVE FUN! Hang out downtown--enjoy the good company and great food and drinks at one of the bars or restaurants downtown or browse the shops! Don't forget to show your wristband for discounts and other fun promotions.
COST: Rider/Walker/Runner Registration is $25/person and includes a T-shirt, a wristband that will entitle you to food and drink specials at local establishments during and after the event, and entrance into a prize raffle for those that are able to hang in there all day.
Ride "Supporter" Registration: Just want to join in on the fun, but don't want to ride? Get the shirt and wristband without the work for $20. If you won't be able to attend the day of the ride, please indicate that and we'll ship your shirt(s).
THE DAY OF THE RIDE: Register or Check-in at 307 Main Street (Main Street Manning Office) and pick up your T-shirt and wristband. Registration goes from 1:00 to 2:30.
A MEMORIAL LAP WILL BE LED BY MANNING FIRE & RESCUE AT 2:00
AFTER THE RIDE: At 6:30 in the Main Street Office, the drawing will be held and prizes awarded.
No refunds will be given. In the event of a weather cancelation, the event will be rescheduled in the fall.
