For those of you wondering why the geranium-lush Main Street planters are being emptied, know that it is only temporary. In order to relocate the planters for the sidewalk brick repair, the dirt has to be removed, and while they are empty, many will see necessary repairs to the electrical boxes inside. So thank you to everyone who has contributed to the Planter Fund and look for them to be full again, at least in time for Christmas. Decorating them for Fall will depend on how long the repairs take and when they are put back in place and filled again..... but our MSM Design Committee, chaired by Joni Warner, is on top of it!
![]() As the Class of 2013 prepares to leave for college, we say goodbye to two special grads - Scott Opperman and Hannah Willison. They have served as student representatives on the MSM Board for the past two years and we will miss their participation and leadership. Pictured here are Board President, Ron Reischl (1970 Alum) and Hannah who attended her final board meeting last week. With our Downtown Revitalization project underway, many of our Main Street businesses have had to remove their signage. Coupled with the obvious signs of demolition, it's no surprise that people are wondering what's going on. These business owners took a creative approach to temporary signage! Rest assured that all of our businesses are maintaining regular hours and services - and we all appreciate your consideration through the process.....exciting times!!
