What makes Manning so refreshing? We would like to hear from you. Tell us why you think your business or community is Refreshing. Is it the great customer service? The friendly smile in every aisle? A place where everyone knows your name? A sense of security when you send your ten year old across town to the rec center? Please let us know your thoughts.
![]() Truly enjoyed the great lunch and entertainment in the park on Friday, Aug. 24th sponsored by the Manning Regional Healthcare Center as they celebrated their 85th Anniversary. The staff did a great job pitching in and pulling this event off. The displays were nicely done and quite educational. Good Luck MRHC! Here's hoping that you celebrate another 85 years in 2097!!! You are invited to the first annual, Muhlbauer – State Representative - golf and steak supper fundraiser on September 10! We hope to see you there! Please see the attached invite for all the details! /uploads/7/4/6/5/7465475/muhlbauer_fundraiser.pdf

Mexican Night will continue on Thursday nights but we will have additional menu offerings as well...including a soup/salad bar, pizzas, wings, and nightly specials. We will also be introducing a delivery service soon. THANK YOU, as always, for all your wonderful support!! Julie Bachman Bauer Just wanted to share an email that I received from Mindi Boyle regarding a recent shopping experience at the NHV Bargain Shoppe. Another reason why we should Shop MANNING!
This fall we had two daughters going to college and moving into apartments. Both were in need of items for their kitchens including dinnerware. I was able to take care of one with some of my mix and match from home, but still needed some dishes for the other. Knowing that the New Hope Bargain Shoppe had kitchen items, I stopped in during the 141 Garage Sales to see if they might have something and felt like I had hit the jackpot. They had a full twelve piece setting of stoneware along with all the serving pieces on sale for $8.60! It was definitely worth my time to stop in and my daughter was thrilled! Thank You New Hope Bargain Shoppe! Mindi Boyle ![]() While on my nightly walk around town with my dog, Cali, I decided to swing around past the Manning Community Gardens in South Manning. Even though we are experiencing a drought right now, these gardens are flourishing! It could have something to do with the fact that a garden hose and water is located right next to the gardens. I want to commend the gardeners who have devoted their time and energy with tending to their gardens this past summer. The produce looks wonderful! I'm sure they are reaping their rewards. Enjoy! MRHC is celebrating 85 years of exceptional healthcare! Join the fun on Friday, August 24 from 11:30 am to 1 pm for a free picnic lunch and live entertainment! Brian Jones will be entertaining at the Warren Timmerman Shelter House in Manning. All are welcome!
