May 16, 2012 - Scavenger Hunt on Main Street sponsored by the Manning Plaza in recognition of National Nursing Home Week. Residents will visit participating businessses between 2-3 pm.
May 17, 2012 - Kids Fishing Day at the Great Western Park. The Carroll County Conservation Board is hosting a free Kids Fishing Day from 5:30pm – 7:30pm on Thursday, May 17 at the Great Western Park in Manning. Bait and poles are provided. Serving maidrites, hot dogs, potato salad, chips and bars from 10:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Hosted by Zion Board of Education, with proceeds to purchase supplies for Vacation Bible School. June 2, 2012 - Manning Chamber / MSM Golf Classic at the M&M Country Club with a shotgun start at 12:30 pm. This is a four-person best ball tournament. Call 655-3541 to register your team.
June 4 - 8, 2012 - Zion Lutheran Church Vacation Bible School 8:45 a.m. to 11:20 a.m. Ages 4 through 7th grade invited to attend. Sign up by calling Zion Church Office @ 655-2352. VBS 2012 Theme is "A Space Adventure".
June 9, 2012 - Free Christian Concert at the Hausbarn-Heritage Park featuring performers Swen and Dean. The concert will be held outdoors in the grove, 5:00 - 9:00 pm. In addition to music performances, many family games and activities are planned. Bring your lawn chairs and blankets and simply relax and listen to the Christian music. All young people will receive a free t-shirt.
